Centre Requirements

Identification of a Local Principal Investigator.
- Local Ethics Committee approval (following lead ethics approval).
- Expected capacity to recruit at least 20 patients during the study period.
- Capacity to perform early laparoscopic cholecystectomy within study timelines.
- Commitment to accurate, real-time electronic data entry via REDCap Cloud.
- Dedication to the 30-day follow-up of all randomized patients.
Publication and Authorship Policy
The core philosophy of PANEL ChIMMACC is to recognize the invaluable work of local clinical teams. Authorship status is determined by recruitment metrics at each site:
Patients recruited by the centre
Recognition
≥20 patients
Local PI + 1 collaborator
≥40 patients
Local PI + 2 collaborator
≥60 patients
Local PI + 3 collaborator
Each additional 20 patients
